Mastering the Mats: How R2 Sports Automates Wrestling Tournaments

Hosting a premier wrestling tournament requires turning morning weigh-ins into finalized brackets in a matter of minutes. When athletes miss weight, scratch, or shift divisions at the last second, attempting to redraw massive double-elimination brackets by hand delays the entire event. Through All Tournament Pro and R2 Sports, directors can collect entries via online sports registration while instantly shuffling competitors into verified weight classes during morning check-ins using our sports membership software.

Once the brackets are locked, R2's tournament management software automatically generates digital bout sheets. Our sports scheduling software assigns mat times with automatic conflict detection, flawlessly deploying deep wrestling formats including true-second double elimination brackets, 5-man round robins, and wrestle-back consolation brackets.

Throughout the event, table workers log pins, tech falls, and decisions on our live scoring app, and directors send instant mat calls to coaches' phones using our web app messaging system. Facilities can manage their weekly duals with our team sports league management platform, launch a free wrestling challenge ladder, or buy R2 Sports tournament software today.
